Potion Perfections

He smiled for what felt like the first time in years.

She stood up and stretched, shirt riing up to show her belly button. "Now what?"

He poked her in the belly button. "I don't know."

She clutched her stomach. "Hey! No touching," she scolded.

"Apoligies. Look but don't touch?"

She nodded. "Exactly."

"I see." Toru was bored, so he turned the fire green and made it shoot sparks.

Aveira smiled and turned the sparks into multiolored butterflies.

Toru waved like a conductor, and sent them flying.

Aveira pointed her wand at them again, making them grow to twice their normal size.

He made them weave, figure eight, loop and soar through the air.

She made sparkles fall from their wings with every flap.

He added heatless flame, trailing out behind them, leaving trails.

She smiled and gave made them sing in heavenly voices. There were no words, just endless notes, each flowing into the next and harmonizing perfectly.

Now he was truely conducting a symphony. He turned the fire trail into silver ribbons.

She turned half the ribbons green. Slytherin colors.

He continued to wave his arms around, sending lights across the room.

She put out the fire, leaving the magical creations as the only light.

He swirled them around, making an unfinished ring. An Obourous.

She laughed slightly, having fun. She made the butterflies start spinning in place as the swirled around the larger ring.

He made the ring spiral out, becoming a full length snake.

She shrunk a few buterflies, creating a forked tongue.

He moved the butterflies in time, making the snake rear back.

She added a cobra hood by enlarging two butterflies.

Toru twirled the snake around the room, splitting it in two. He made them go in every random direction until they crashed into each other, exploding in a bright meddley of colors.
